PUBLICATION ETHICS

The Journal of Education and Social Sciences Research (ESAR) is committed to adhering to the highest standards in ethical publishing. In this context; Ethical publishing principles published by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), Open Access Scholarly Publishers Association (OASPA) and World Association of Medical Editors (WAME) have been adopted. Articles submitted to the journal should not have been published before and should not be evaluated in another journal. Each article sent to ESAR will be double-blinded by at least one editor and two referees. Plagiarism, duplication, fraudulent authorship, research / data fabrication, work slicing, copyright infringement and concealment of conflict of interest encountered during evaluation are considered unethical situations. In this context, the evaluation process of articles that do not comply with the accepted ethical standards is terminated. Articles with possible ethical violations detected after publication are removed from the publication. It is the authors' responsibility to write the articles in accordance with ethical rules. The international research ethics principles adopted by ESAR are as follows;

- The principles of integrity, quality and transparency should be ensured in the design of the research, the review of the design and the conduct of the research.

- Research team and participants, purpose of the research, methods and possible uses envisaged; They should be fully informed about the requirements and, if any, risks of participation in the research.

- Confidentiality of information provided by research participants and confidentiality of respondents should be ensured. Research should be designed to preserve the autonomy and dignity of the participants.

- Research participants should take part in the research voluntarily and should not be under any coercion.

- Participants should be avoided from harm. The research should be planned in a way that does not put the participants at risk.

- Be clear about research independence; If there is a conflict of interest, it should be indicated.

- In experimental studies, written informed consent of the participants who decide to participate in the research should be obtained. The legal guardian's approval must be obtained for children and those under guardianship or those with confirmed mental illness.

- If the study will be carried out in any institution or organization, approval must be obtained from this institution or organization that the study will be carried out.

- In studies with a human element, it should be stated in the "method" section that "informed consent" was obtained from the participants and the ethics committee approval was obtained from the institution where the study was conducted.
